As we start to learn more about a clients business and take in more information - it's vital that we have a system for organization, communication, and deadlines.
Our company uses Basecamp to make this happen.
Basecamp is amazing because it allows us to do SIX vital things that make for a seamless communication process.
1) It Allows for Regular Chat Commuincation - using an internal chatlog called "Campfire" clients can ask quick questions, get in touch with our team during regular business hours, and receive updates from the team.
2) It Allows For Posting of Key Dates and Information - using a message board both we and clients can post important announcements and "at-a-glance" information such as key launch dates.
3) It Tracks Team AND Client To Do's - Ever wondering what you need to be doing as a client, or what your agency needs to be doing as a team? Our command central allows us to track what everyone in the project needs to be doing and working on.
4) It Creates A Calendar For Review - Once you have all of your to do's and key dates - the software allows us to create a high level calendar that tracks deadlines, dates, action items, and more.
5) Reminders For Communication - It's important to us that we check in on clients on a regular basis - we use what are called "automated reminders" which allow the software to ping us to check in on clients so that you don't go too long without hearing from us. We want to be proactive with your ads management, not reactive.
6) A Central Place for Docs and Files - We use things like Google Drive to create the files that we need - but using a Google file often leads to "searching" for lost documents and files. The files section of Basecamp integrates with Google drive and allows us to house all the files in a centralized and accessible location - we never have to go "hunting" to find client files.
Once a new client is set up inside of Basecamp - we have a short 10-minute guided tour that our team has created that walks you through the ins-and-outs of how to use Basecamp.
In short, we don't want you to stress over communication, so we bring everything to one easy to manage location.
Once we know what we want the 6 to 8 week process of working together to look like, our team goes to work creating and identifying AUDIENCES that we can target with content to drive traffic to the live launch.

We DO NOT employ a full time designer or copywriter, but instead we allow our clients to write copy that THEY believe will land with their customers and clients.
Now that doesn't mean that we leave you to figure it out...
From Step 1, we work TOGETHER to determine what ads will run, and what type of copy that will require. We then provide you with examples, ideas, and more, so that you can develop copy and creatives that speak to your client.
We guide you through the process of writing captivating copy, and share with you what works in the world of creatives so that you're not left trying to figure it out for yourself.
All of our clients are provided with Creative Brief Templates via Google Docs.
These are simple files that allow you to drop all your creative ideas into one place - copy, images, links, etc. for our team to review and revise with you.
Once you provide our team with the first draft we'll go through and edit your copy as necessary looking for two things....
1) COPY THAT CONVERTS - we don't want you running ads that we know aren't going to lead to results!
2) COPY THAT APPROVES - Facebook can be fickle when it comes to approving your content - so we review everything to maximize approval with Facebook's team.
Once you provide us with all your creatives - we'll move them into a launch schedule and create a calendar of dates in our project management software to make sure that approval, setup, and creation all go off without a hitch!
Once we get creatives back from our clients - we don't just pick what WE think is going to do the best, we set up up a variety of split tests inside of the ads manager.
As you can see from the data in Jamie's launch we tested...

And we found that some did better than others in terms of conversions.
We don't just "guess" what works - we TEST what works.
As you can see from the data above, by testing a variety of images and photos - we were able to find the "optimal costs" which resulted in....
Our team monitors the ads on a DAILY BASIS to find the winning combinations of audiences, copy, and creative that will lead to the absolute lowest lead cost, with the highest converting audience.

Now is the time that we kick it into high gear and target EVERYONE that has seen your webinar, challenge, or video series and get them over to a sales page STAT so that we can convert them from leads to customers.
We do this by leveraging the schedule we co-created in Step 1 (now focusing on the cart open creative and copy) and by setting up strategic retargeting campaigns.
When you finish - it looks something like this...
Based on the above date - we ran over 15 retargeting campaigns to test, and generated 173 sales of a program priced at $697, resulting in over $120,000 in revenue of a the digital product.
It cost $204.74 per purchase in ad spend, meaning that we over 3x-ed Jamie's spend on ads in direct ROI.
Jamie generated just over $292,000 in sales TOTAL from her launch, but at Heart, Soul & Hustle we focus on the DIRECT ROI from Facebook Ads, not just the overall ROI of the launch.
So that means if Jamie were to do NO organic promotion and rely solely on ads - she would have done over $120,000 in sales from Facebook.
